Catero Dispatch

Terms of Service

Last updated September 6, 2026

1. Agreement

These terms govern use of Catero Dispatch, operated by Catero (“Catero”, “we”, “us”) of Chicago, Illinois. By creating a Dispatcher account or using the service you agree to them on behalf of the business you represent, and you confirm you are authorized to do so. Catero Dispatch is a business tool for catering operators; it is not offered to consumers.

2. The service

Catero Dispatch reads your confirmed catering orders from Catero Calendar, groups the day's deliveries into driver routes, and sends each assigned driver a link to their route by text message. Departure and arrival times are estimates built from third-party traffic data. You remain responsible for your deliveries, your drivers, and your customers.

3. Accounts

Keep your login credentials confidential and tell us promptly at support@catero.app if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account, including by the people you give access to.

4. Your data and your drivers

You own the order, customer, and driver information you provide or connect. You grant us a license to store and process it only as needed to run, secure, and support the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Before adding a driver's mobile number you must have that driver's agreement to receive route links by text, as described on our SMS program page. You are responsible for the accuracy of that consent and for removing drivers who withdraw it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service for anything unlawful or to send messages to people who have not agreed to receive them;
  • resell, sublicense, or provide the service to third parties as a service of your own;
  • probe, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service or its security;
  • share Driver links with anyone other than the assigned driver.

6. Third-party services

The service depends on third parties, including Google Maps for routing and navigation and telecommunications carriers for text delivery. Their availability and terms are outside our control, and we are not responsible for delays, outages, or inaccuracies that originate with them.

7. Fees

Fees are those agreed during onboarding or stated on your invoice. Fees exclude taxes, which you are responsible for where they apply. We may change fees with at least 30 days' written notice.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and may change, add, or retire features over time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may suspend the service for maintenance or to protect it.

9. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Route timings are planning aids, not guarantees of on-time delivery.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Catero is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

11. Termination

Either of us may end this agreement at any time by written notice. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for a material breach of these terms. After termination we delete your data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it to meet legal obligations.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by posting a revised version here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
